LIC south zone crosses Rs 3,000 cr biz
HYDERABAD: Life Insurance Corporation (LIC), South Central Zone, consisting of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka states, have crossed Rs 3,000 crore New Business Premium Income by Nov 30 during the current Financial Year 2016-17, creating a new record. LIC South Central Zone has mobilised 14.38 Lakh policies and the total new business premium procured is Rs 3,079 crore. The zone has achieved 73.31 pc of the annual premium target and registered a growth of 103.63 pc in new business premium income. The guaranteed return Immediate pension plan Jeevan Akshay VI has contributed Rs 1,600 crore out of the total premium procured.
